Delhi : Capital city of the
India. It is one of India's fastest growing cities. It has sprawled
over the West Bank of the river Yamuna, straddling the river. The
city has two distinct parts, Old Delhi & New Delhi. Delhi is the
second most widely used entry point into the country, being on the
route of most major airlines. It is well linked by rail, air and
road to all parts of the country. The remains of seven distinctive
capital cities - among them Shahjahanabad and Qutub Minar - can be
seen. Here, museums, art galleries and cultural centers attract the
finest exhibitions.

Delhi blends an historic past and a vibrant present. Delhi has some
of the finest museums in the country. New Delhi was proclaimed the
capital of India by the British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens
(1869-1944) & is tree-lined & spacious. Legend has it that the
Pandavas, the august heroes of the epic Mahabharata, originally
founded Delhi, then called Indraprastha, around 1200 B.C. Present
day Delhi is built around the ruins of seven ancient cities.

Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Meeting and assistance on arrival. Transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Delhi
Morning tour of Delhi visiting Jama Masjid - The largest mosque of
India, Red Fort, Raj Ghat - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi.
Afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek, Humayun's
Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch), Lakshminarayan Temple - a
modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President's House, Parliament
House, Government Secretariat Buildings. Overnight Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi - Jaipur (265 kms - 5 hrs)
Morning drive to Jaipur. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening
at leisure or optional visit cinema hall - Rajmandir, famous for
interiors.
Day 04: Jaipur
Morning drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose
residential & business areas. Visit Amber Fort and ride the hill on
the back of decorated elephant. Amber Fort was the ancient capital
of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory
glittering with mirrors. Afternoon tour of Jaipur - the capital of
Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of
a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour. Built
by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260
years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory. Overnight
Jaipur.
Day 05: Jaipur - Agra (235 kms - 5 hrs)
Drive to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute. Fatehpur
Sikri is 40 kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and
abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful
buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch
Mahal and other Palaces. Overnight Agra.
Day 06: Agra - Delhi (203 kms - 4 hrs)
Morning visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul
Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her
mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl
Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit the
Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her
father.
Afternoon drive to Delhi. Transfer to international airport to board
flight for onward journey.
Temple. After sight-seeing continue your drive arrive and check in
at hotel. Afternoon visit local tribal villages, group of wild deers,
sand Dunes by Jeep Safari.
Day 07 : Khimsar - Jodhpur (100 kms)
Drive to Jodhpur, enroute visit 7th century Jain Temple dedicaed
to 24th Jain Prophet Mahavira in Osian village. Continue your drive
to Jodhpur arrive and check in at hotel. Afternoon visit Mehrangarh
Fort 125 meters high above the plains founded by Rao Jodha in 1459
AD., Jaswant Thada, Clock Tower and local Sardar Market.
Day 08 : Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Kumbhalgarh (160 kms)
Morning drive to Ranakpur, enroute visit 15th century Ranakpur
Jain Temple built of pure white marble with 80 domes supported by
1444 different carved pillars and continue your drive & reach to
second biggest Fort of Asia " Kumbalgarh Fort " built by one of the
strongest King of Mewar Maharana Kumba in 15th century to built
chain of Forts to protect his motherland. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 09 : Kumbhalgarh - Udaipur (120 kms)
After breakfast proceed to Udaipur- City Of Lakes founded by
Maharana Udai Singh in 1567 AD surrounded by Aravali hills. Arrive
and check in at hotel. Afternoon enjoy boat ride in Lake Pichola and
later enjoy traditional folk dances of Rajasthan in Meera Kala
Mandir. Return back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 10 : Udaipur
After breakfast Guided Sightseeing Tour of Jagdish Temple, City
Palace Museum, Sahelion Ki Bari (Maharani_s Friend Garden) and City
Round. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 11 : Udaipur - Chittorgarh (115 kms)
Morning drive to Chittorgarh. Upon arrival transfer to hotel and
after wash and change visit Asia's biggest Fort " Chittorgarh " 180
meters above the plains founded by Bhima one of the heroes of
Mahabarta before 5000 years as per Hindu Mythology and the cradle of
the brave Sisodia Rajputs who never bow their head before any mighty
outside ruler till 1947 when Mewar was merged into the Indian Union.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 12 : Chittorgarh - Pushkar (200 kms)
Morning after breakfast leave for Pushkar. Transfer to hotel.
Afternoon short city tour of Pushkar visiting "Brahma Temple" -the
only temple in world. As per Hindu mythology Brahma is creator of
world. Also visit famous Pushkar cattle ground near Pushkar Lake
where famous cattle fare is organized every year in November.
Day 13 : Pushkar - Jaipur (145 kms)
Drive to Jaipur founded by Maharaja Swai Jai Singh 11nd in 1727
AD. Arrive and check in at hotel. Afternoon visit local bazaars
famous museums of Precious and semi Precious stones and Rajasthani
handicrafts, Return back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 14 : Jaipur
After breakfast local sightseeing of Jaipur, visiting Hawa Mahal,
Amber Fort by elephant ride, Astrological Observatory, City Palace.
Return back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 15 : Jaipur - Agra (235 Kms, 06 hours )
Drive to Agra, enroute visit Fateh-Pur-Sikri ceremonial capital
of Akbar (1569-1582 AD ). Unfortunately this magnificent city was
abandoned after 13 years due to lack of drinking water. Proceed to
Agra, arrive & check in at hotel Afternoon visit Agra fort and world
famous Taj Mahal during sun set when Taj changes its colors. Return
back hotel for overnight stay.
Day 16 : Agra - Delhi
After breakfast leave for Delhi. Upon arrival direct transfer to
hotel. Rest of the day free or independent activities or do some
last minute shopping. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 17 : Delhi
In time meeting/assistance at the hotel and transfer to
international airport to board your return flight.
